I've been meaning to get around to posting some work from the past year, but as always, life has a tendency to throw the unexpected at you. Been running around tending to life and its many duties since graduation. Now that things have settled down a bit, I thought I'd devote some time towards a blog focusing more on my photographic adventures.
This first post is of my friend Cathy, a very talented musician and an all-around amazing girl. I had the privilege of photographing her back in June for her senior recital. Isn't she lovely? The dress she's wearing is a vintage gown I found at a thrift shop last summer. I'm all about thrifting, and once I laid eyes on this beautiful dress, I fell in love. (An added bonus that it was only $15. Cha-ching!)

I've been dabbling in photography for about six years now, and have come to love the way I can explore, view, and depict the world through my lens. There is so very much to see in this world, and not nearly enough time to take it all in. My hope is to capture as much of it as I can in the little time I have left.
